hmm..Mr Arafat just passed away. he was a leader without a country..and with his passing..there is talk of political strife and such. may the Lord bless his soul. am i saddened by the news? well..maybe..death isn't something that many ppl cheer at. yet..his death is an end to the seffering he endured as his organs slowly failed him. at 9 this morning..i heard his kidneys and liver have failed him, and in the same breath, the newscaster continued to talk of his heart and lungs still working. is that really a good thing?
just yest..the health thing incl in yest's papers mentioned a programme that few know of, the ability to sign a piece of paper to prevent the artificial sustenance of a life that isn't worth sustaining. would i ever sign such a document? probably. it is scientifically proven that family members who grieve a death before the actual death heal faster then ppl who mourn a sudden death. morbid eh?
on a lighter note..there's singapore idol tonight..tho i'm not sure i'm looking forward to it. for one, no more leandra. secondly..it's ASIAN pop! darn...half the show will be in a lang i dun understand. well..there's a bug's life now. so as i diligently study sexual reproduction in plants, i'm gonna watch a bug's life off the corner of my eye. haha...bugs..bio!! perfect!
